HOW WE BUILD
Not adapted desktop PCs. Engineered for edge deployment.
Tranquil IT systems are not desktop computers modified for industrial use. They are designed from first principles for the specific constraints of edge deployment, thermal, mechanical, electrical, and operational.
INDUSTRIAL COMPONENTS
Components are selected for extended lifecycle support . This means platform availability is sustained over years, not months, reducing the risk of forced mid-programme hardware changes.
PASSIVE THERMAL DESIGN
Cooling geometry is engineered into the chassis itself. No fans, no heatsink assemblies, no moving parts. Heat is managed entirely through passive conduction eliminating the mechanical failure mode most likely to cause unplanned downtime.

ROBUST MECHANICAL DESIGN
The chassis is designed to absorb vibration and handle environmental stress not just meet a minimum specification on paper. In-house designed and milled aluminium enclosures provide the structural integrity required for industrial and mobile applications.

ENERGY EFFICIENT OPERATION
Platforms are specified to reduce heat generation, power consumption and operating cost without sacrificing the performance required for the application. Efficient operation also reduces thermal stress on components directly extending operational life.

Recyclable aluminium enclosures: Tranquil IT platforms use aluminium enclosures manufactured from repurposed and recycled aluminium. Production waste is recycled. Sustainability is built into the same engineering decisions that deliver durability.
CONFIGURATION & FLEXIBILITY
Pre-configured, not generic.
Every Tranquil IT platform is production-ready from the outset. Flexibility remains a strength platforms are offered with configurable CPU options, I/O, storage and mounting to allow alignment with specific application requirements without the cost, risk or lead time of full custom development. These controlled configuration options do not alter the physical or certified baseline of the platform.
For customers whose requirements go beyond standard platforms, seamless escalation to Tranquil Studio enables bespoke design and manufacturing.

Tranquil IT is the proven edge platform solution family within 2CRSi Edge. It delivers production-ready, long-lifecycle edge computing systems including fanless, waterproof and in-vehicle platforms designed to operate reliably in harsh environments with minimal maintenance and minimal intervention. The goal is a calm, predictable operational experience: deploy once and trust the system to continue working without constant oversight.
Tranquil IT offers four platform categories: Compact Edge Systems (fanless, space-efficient platforms for IoT and industrial deployment); Outdoor Edge Systems (IP66 rated for exposed and harsh outdoor environments); Edge Servers (half-rack and full-rack edge compute with server-grade CPUs, IP50–IP66 rated); and Mobile Edge Systems (in-vehicle platforms with anti-vibration and intelligent power supply as standard).
