Outdoor Edge Systems are the IP66-rated platforms in the Tranquil IT range built for exposed, demanding environments where standard equipment fails. The IP66 rating is what makes these systems suitable for outdoor use and the most extreme operating conditions.
Like every Tranquil IT platform, they are fanless. Passive cooling removes fans and moving parts, the most common cause of hardware failure, so the systems run silently and reliably for long periods without intervention. The in-house designed and milled aluminium chassis is optimised for efficient cooling and durability across a wide temperature range.
The range spans two form factors and both processor architectures, compact Mini systems for space-constrained deployment, and rugged Servers where server-grade compute, capacity and remote management are required each available with Intel or AMD.
